After a well earned sleep we ordered an uber and headed the 30minutes along the pretty Croatian coastline overlooking the Adriatic sea until we arrived at the Biker's Cafe as instructed by our next host (AirBnB) and followed her directions to our apartment. It is an interesting change to see more trees, flowering plants, olives growing wild, oleanders, vines, lighter coloured limestone rocks and orange terracotta roofs.

It is steep! There are a lot of stairs and passageways on the way to our apartment. We are on the fourth floor and have a direct view from up high of the coastline and towards the Old city of Dubrovnik. The site of Game of Thrones King's Landing. Very scenic.

Weather for the week is set to be rainy and wet, so a quiet week on the cards. Having escaped the excessive cost of Iceland groceries, we headed out to the old city to have a lunch main meal as is custom here in Dubrovnik. A delicious risotto for me with gamberi shrimp and Bronnie had a fix of calamari that she had a hankering for.

Back home for a quiet night in. Side note: we are NEARLY through the podcast "Bronwyn" that we started way back in Ireland. It is 22 episodes long. We think it is most likely that the husband John did it!!!!! Without a hire car now though, it will be tough to get into that last couple of episodes :)
